How would you feel if someone wished cancer on you? Better yet, how would you feel if you already had cancer, it went away and then your wife wished it back to kill you? Well, that's Skyler's
strategy on this episode of Breaking Bad.

and his son Walter junior
hanging out together enjoying the cars he bought. As you know in a previous episode he bought his son the Dodge Challenger but his wife Skyler made him return it in fear that it would bring them attention from the IRS. So Walter did several donuts right before blowing it up to smithereens.

He brought the car back to his son but this time he leased it and also got himself a Chrysler 300. FYI, the first car his son drove in with was a PT Cruiser and it wasn't until Walter junior showed his dissatisfaction that he came back the Challenger.
There was a really nice reggae dubstep song played in the scene Bonfire by Knife Party

When she came back to her office, she put her face inside a black pillow and screamed. Mike
called back and he told her he'd have a new guy drive the product. Lydia looks really scared and reluctant to cooperate.

When she asks him if he's back in the Meth business he tells her that they have to make up for the $600k. That $600k was given to Ted in a previous episode which all went to waste.
I'm amazed at how Skyler is so upset at Walter yet she had no problem almost all his money to give it to some guy she cheated with, who also needed it for illegally tampering with his accounting records. She acts like she's s righteous and Walter is so bad yet she's not so right herself.
We find out that Walter is having a birthday making him 51 years old and that Skyler wants a new environment for the children like brining the kids to a boarding school. Walter then asks her
"What's wrong with their environment?" Walter
She responds:
"A new environment might be good for them" Skyler
Walter then asks for chocolate cake with chocolate icing and says:
"Life is good Skyler"

Skyler is wrong here, but at the same time there's a lot riding on her shoulders because Hank and Marie don't know all that Walter has been doing.

It's a constant roller coaster ride with Skyler. She's never clear on what side she's on. One time she's one Walter's side. The next minute she's not.

Marie then offers to take the kids for a little. Walter finds out that that was Skyler's idea. Walter agrees on the premise that he knows the kids will eventually come back.

Skyler says that it isn't safe in their house. I'm thinking that it isn't safe with a mom who keeps trying to kill herself!
Skyler starts picking at Walter saying
"I thought u were the danger?"
As he tries telling her to stop feeling guilty about what happened to Ted and that she did it for good cause, she says she doesn't need to hear his "bullshit rationales."
They then get into a serious argument as Skyler begins showing her true contempt for Walter. Walter asks her what her real plan is with trying to take the kids away
"What are you gonna do to stop it. What's your next move?" Walter
They play chess moves back and forth. Every time she says she'll do something Walter destroys her strategy. I'm amazed at how low Skyler was willing to stoop. At one point she said she'd hurt herself and say that he was beating her.
"How are you gonna save our kids from this terrible environment?" Walter
"I will count every minute that the kids are away from you as a victory" Skyler
When Walter continues to invalidate her attempts to get away, she breaks down saying that she has no plan, that she's not as smart as him
"I can't even keep you out of my bed" Skyler
But then she says something that changes the game completely
"All I can do is wait." Skyler
"Wait for what what are you waiting for?" Walter
"For the cancer to come back" Skyler

This blew me away. I can't believe she'd say something like this. This has got to be a huge shift in the Breaking Bad story. Everything Walter worked for has now turned against him, his own wife wishes his death by cancer.

Jesse sticks up for Lydia telling Mike that he could be wrong. Jesse seems to always be the lady's man. But I'm with Mike on this one. Mike then says that he's going to kill her.

They ask Walter but Walters plan is not revealed in its entirety. We'll probably find out next episode.

When he asks her if she's coming to bed she lights up another cigarette. He tells her that Jesse gave him the watch and reminds her that the person who gave him the watch wanted to kill him at one point but has changed his mind. He tells that she'll change her mind about him too.
"He changed his mind about me and so will you." Walter

Walter then goes to bed and places his watch on the end table and its ticking sound gets louder and louder which seems to symbolize time running out for him and an inevitable death.

Goodbye Pontiac Aztec
Walter finally sells his pontiac aztec that he rode for 4 seasons of Breaking Bad. he nearly gave it away. He sold it for $50 to the mechanic who fixed it. What I enjoyed was when he found his Heisenberg hat in the car and how that gave him the push he needed to get rid of the car and his past.
Revving cars with Walter Junior
I was so excited to finally see Walter
and his son Walter junior
hanging out together enjoying the cars he bought. As you know in a previous episode he bought his son the Dodge Challenger but his wife Skyler made him return it in fear that it would bring them attention from the IRS. So Walter did several donuts right before blowing it up to smithereens.

DEA visits Lydia at Madrigal
The Dea, along with Hank, came by to visit Lydia. Mike calls her immediately and she cooperates but is really nervous obviously. She leads the DEA to one of her guy named Ron who used to drive for her.
When she came back to her office, she put her face inside a black pillow and screamed. Mike
called back and he told her he'd have a new guy drive the product. Lydia looks really scared and reluctant to cooperate.
Relationship getting better with junior
The relationship between Walter and his son seems to be getting better all the time. It's interesting to see how Walter Junior will react as Skyler continues to try breaking them apart. The issue is that Walter junior doesn't know the truth so the question becomes will he react different if his mother ends up telling him what Walter really does?Walter gives Skyler $20k for the cars
When Walter and Skyler are in the bedroom Skyler shows her disapproval of his bringing hom the cars as is expected since she reacted this way in a previous episode. Walter tells her that he leased them this time so it shouldnt be as bad. He lays down 4 stacks of $5k bills.

Hank gets promoted at the DEA office
Hank gets promoted at work but he's going to have to lay off the field work which is the type of work he really likes to do. He looks happy but mostly worried about letting go of the case.

Marie tells Hank about Skyler's affair
I was expecting this to happen. On the way to Walter's birthday party Marie tells Hank about Skyler's affair with Ted. At first Hank thought it was Walter because of his two cellphones and was shocked when he found out it was Skyler.
Skyler is wrong here, but at the same time there's a lot riding on her shoulders because Hank and Marie don't know all that Walter has been doing.
Skyler tries drowning herself
Again Skyler won't give up her drama. She's always spaced out when she's with Walter. As Walter gets into a soliloquy on how much Skyler stood by his side she slowly walks over to the pool, stares into it with extreme focus and begins walking herself in slowly until she tries drowning herself. Walter has to go in to save her.

Skyler vs Walter - it gets real
Walter and Skyler really get into it. In the beginning of Breaking Bad, Walter's conflicts seemed to be between himself and the drug business. Now it's like between his family mostly, which is ironic because he got into everything in the first place to try picking his family back up.

Mike wants to kill Lydia again
When Mike thinks over the GPS tracker that was placed on the barrel which prevented Jesse from continuing with the job, he suspects that Lydia planted it there herself. He suspects that because of how badly placed it was and he figures Lydia wants to find another way to stop the operation.

Jesse gives Walter a watch
Jesse gives Walter a gift. It's a watch. It was really nice of Jesse to give him this gift. At the same time, Walter stares at it and it seems to be the symbol of time running out and inevitable death. The episode even ended with Walter in bed and the ticking of the watch getting louder and louder.

Walter comes home to Skyler smoking
When Walter comes home Skyler is sitting ont he couch smoking away. This pissed me off because I'm thinking, is this why she wanted the kids gone. She picks at Walter but she sleeps around and smoked while she was pregnant. Everyone has their own Bad, but everyone's bad is on a different level of course.
When he asks her if she's coming to bed she lights up another cigarette. He tells her that Jesse gave him the watch and reminds her that the person who gave him the watch wanted to kill him at one point but has changed his mind. He tells that she'll change her mind about him too.
